Kyle deVries

Pronouns: They/Them/Theirs

Surviving and healing can sometimes feel like truly overwhelming tasks, particularly when existing as a person with identities that experience oppression. Kyle honors that struggle while helping clients cope and grow. People of all identities, trauma survivors at any point of their healing journey, and those who are looking for support in transitioning are welcomed and respected.  Small degrees of change can have rippling effects. Counseling offers the opportunity to gently support this growth by healing the brain-body connection, building emotion regulation and increasing distress tolerance skills.

Kyle identifies as nonbinary, queer, biracial, and second generation immigrant. As a person who grew up in a socially and politically conservative area, they understand the complicated family dynamics and conflicting desires that come with them. In their free time, Kyle enjoys hiking as a form of mindfulness, plays D&D for the fantasy and connection, and reads fantasy and sci-fi.

Credentials and Education: Kyle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington. They earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Tulsa, and a Masters of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling from Oklahoma State University.

Kyle works with adults and offers counseling in English.
